Magnet Wire

Generator

A generator is a device that converts kinetic or other forms of energy into electrical energy. The general generator first converts the energy contained in various primary energy into mechanical energy through the prime mover, and then converts it into electrical energy through the generator, and sends it to various electricity consumption places through the transmission and distribution network.

A generator is the opposite of the basic principle of an electric motor. The motor is a device that uses the current-passing coil to generate a magnetic field to form an electromagnet, and uses the magnetic force between the magnets to push the coil to do work. The generator uses various powers (such as water power and wind power) to make the coil rotate between the poles of the magnet; when the coil rotates, the magnetic field in the coil changes, so an induced current is generated, which is to use the principle of electromagnetic induction to convert the work done by the power into electrical device.

The insulation and high temperature resistance of enameled wire is a good material for generators, which are usually composed of stators, rotors, end covers and bearings. The stator consists of stator core, wire wrap winding, frame and other structural parts that fix these parts. The rotor is composed of rotor core (or magnetic pole, magnetic yoke) winding, guard ring, center ring, slip ring, fan and shaft. The stator and rotor of the generator are connected and assembled by the bearing and the end cover, so that the rotor can rotate in the stator and perform the movement of cutting the magnetic field lines, thereby generating an induced potential, which is drawn out through the terminal and connected in the loop, and a current is generated.
